Sleeping at Stonehenge: North Node line in MC

The time I slept at Stonehenge was almost 10 years ago.

But why did I visit Stonehenge?

Well, I live in London, and Stonehenge is a few hours away.

Furthermore, Stonehenge is less than 33.4 miles, or under an hour’s drive, from my North Node line in MC. The historical site is situated in the small town of Amesbury, Wiltshire, England.

Astrocartography is a strange way to travel but can help you understand how the movement of the planets in relation to your (personal) natal chart can affect your life experiences and decisions.

Anyway, twice a year, Heritage UK allows people from all over the world to spend the night at the sacred site of Stonehenge, during the Summer and Winter Solstices.

And it’s free!

I went to the Summer Solstice on the 21st of June. Despite the picture, there was no alcohol nor camping equipment (including a regular tent, but I did see some pop-up tents) or fires allowed.

I am not sure what the rules are now, as I went years ago, so if you are planning to go, check their website for an updated list.

Some of the no no’s in 2022 are listed below:

  • No Amplified music is not permitted.
  • No alcohol is allowed within the monument or the monument field. Alcohol will be confiscated, or individuals in possession of alcohol will be asked to leave.
  • Drunken, disorderly and anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and anybody considered to be behaving in this way will be asked to leave by security staff and/or the police and will not be allowed back in.
  • Illegal drugs are illegal at Stonehenge as they are anywhere else. The police will be on site and will take action against anyone breaking the law.
  • Please be aware that, in order to keep everyone safe, searches will be undertaken. Any items that are illegal will be confiscated, and your entry will be refused.

Furthermore

  • Camping equipment, fires, Chinese lanterns, fireworks, candles, tea-lights or BBQs are not permitted at Stonehenge, in the Solstice Car Park, or anywhere in the surrounding National Trust land.
  • In the interests of safety, sleeping bags or duvets are not allowed on site. Sleeping on the ground creates a trip hazard and can interfere with the work of emergency services and hinder their ability to help people. Small ground sheets and blankets are permitted for people to sit on but please do not bring chairs etc. (unless used as a recognised disability aid). Shooting-sticks are not permitted.
  • Objects with a sharp point or sharp edge capable of being used to cause serious injury will not be permitted.
  • Counter-terrorism security measures will be in place at Summer Solstice. Only small bags are allowed.

Ancient Sites: What Others Have Said

Before I left, there had been so much talk about the site. Shock jock Alex Jones was at the height of his career back in 2014 or 2013, and he went on either his show or Joe Rogan’s podcast and said that he felt powerful energies at a certain point on the grounds of Stonehenge.

Alex Jones had attended the Bilderberg conference to protest the secretive nature of the event and to raise awareness about what he believes is a global conspiracy to control the world’s population.

People say they’ve experienced powerful energies at places like Stonehenge and Sedona. Personally, I never felt any energy vortex in the Mayan Ruins, Tulum, or Palenque, Mexico, nor at the Giza Pyramids in Egypt.

So, I was not expecting much.

My Experience

Anyway, when I went to the festival, I recall myself saying it felt very British, like I was at the pub. These were also the words said to me by a Urainkane woman.

But once I listened back to my recorded experience of Stonehenge (which I recorded immediately after I returned home from the site; watch the video), I remembered there was energy there.

Upon reflection, the energy at Stonehenge was stronger than what I felt at Glastonbury and other scared sites.

Well, the surrounding areas were activated by something (as spoken about in the video).

It’s estimated that Stonehenge was already 500-1,000 years old before the first Giza pyramid was built. Somewhere in 3100 BC.

Stonehenge was aligned with the sun. The stones correspond to the observation of many astronomical events such as solstices, eclipses, moon cycles. Thus, Stonehenge remains the first astrological computer.

Prof. G.S. Hawkins submitted Stonehenge’s layout to computer analysis, revealing alignments that showed it was a megalithic computer.

Anyway, I had always wanted to experience the summer solstice at Stonehenge, so when I got the chance to go that year, I was excited. I arrived and was looking forward to the experience.

But, my plans were abruptly interrupted when Police officers stopped and asked to search me, drugs were strictly prohibited. But before entering the site, I had been speaking to a man who had marijuana on him.

As they searched me, I felt exposed and vulnerable.

Fortunately, I had nothing on me, but it was still a very uncomfortable experience.

My North & South Node

Anyway, if you have read my other post on the North node you’ll know I have my north node in Leo, linked to playfulness and good times, normally ruling the 5th house of celebrations.

However, conjuring up images of celebrating one may picture the consumption of alcohol and having a good time. Drunken are also fellow fire sign Sagittarius tropes. Interestingly, the 9th house (conjunct the MC) where my NN resides is the natural home of Sagittarius.

The south node works in cahoots with the north node. Aquarius is where my south node resides.

Aquarius is also a youthful, rebellious, teenage-angst sign. But Aquarius also represents the new age.

The people I saw there included druids—you know, the witches—and Starseeds, or whatever they’re called in the occult world. But they and the zens, hippies, and gipsies got lost in the mix of the youthful energy on display.

The youth were rebelling against the rules by bringing alcohol, drugs, and music, which were not allowed.

What I thought the festival would be like!

Pisces, Scorpio, and Aquarius are all associated with mysticism and the esoteric. Although Pisces rising, rather than Pisces sun, has a stronger affinity for mysticism.

Mystics vs Revellers?

Anyway, the young people that were at the summer solstice were a representation of my north node in Leo because they had come on a pilgrimage to a sacred site and they wanted to have fun.

They were people who were enjoying themselves in a lively and noisy way: drunken revelers.

The kids entertained themselves. And to keep themselves entertained while they were at this sacred pilgrimage site, they brought their youth and their version of fun to the place they visited.

The older set, unlike the yougsters, dressed as psychics, mystics, and witches.

But the youth just looked like teens. And they were expressing themselves the way you think young people should.

So, this was a true embodiment of Leo energy.

I am a Leo. My sun is in Leo, and my Mercury and north node are in Leo. Receiving attention is the true embodiment of this fire sign.
