What is the 11th house? It’s a place where things come together.
It’s The Eleventh Hour!
Is the last possible time to make changes before it’s too late; that’s the eleventh hour. And similarly, the 11th house is where things come together, whether to form groups, bonds, networking, and to share or formulate ideas.
Because of this, the 11th house is a place where people can collectively come together because of a shared activity, or they have the desire to contribute to a creative project which might even benefit our society in the future.
It is usual for the 11th house to be associated with events that stem from the desire to working together, towards achieving a common goal. Here is the hope of a brighter future for all of humanity.
In this sense, you might say that this is a place of unity and finding one’s utopia.
Protests
However, the 11th house is a place of protests because if you want a different future, then you must take a stance. The 11th house rejects almost everything which was laid out in the ‘authoritative’ 10th house.
You are now free from what was limiting and controlling you in the 10th.
Here in the 11th you aspire to move towards a better future, an almost Utopian society. However, you can’t take a stance against those in control all by yourself sometimes you need support from other people. All that’s needed is one person rebelling against social norms to start a chain reaction.
As a result, the 11th house reminds you if you want to make long-lasting change you’ll benefit by having more people in support of your goal. You can gain by having more people around; be it gaining financially (people will buy from you if they are supporting you), gain influence etc.
It’s easy abandon people in the 11th house. The relationships here are not always legally binding (as it is in the 7th house.) Apart from older siblings you are not connected by blood to people in the 11th.
Types of People
The 4th house is where your ties lie. But, in the 11th house, you can make a conscious decision about who you want to be part of your family. Here you are more open to people from all different walks of life!
Other people represented in the 11th are most likely to be group members, sorority or fraternity brothers and sisters. Subscribers, protesters, advocates, and acquaintances are here. Whereas, a close friend such as a bestie can be found in the 7th house.

This is not somewhere to express your personal feelings. Making the 11th house an impersonal house. However, the 11th house can be seen as the house of blended families. It is the house opposite to the 5th house of children, . Thus, step, fostered, and adopted children, son and daughter in laws, are found here. Its a perfect location for mixing and combining.
Remember many different people coming together.
Older siblings are also the type of people roaming around in this location.
Flash forward 25yrs, and the people that you meet in the future are the type of inhabitants of the 11th. You can expect to interact with inventors, producers, engineers, hippies, and scientist; anyone ahead of their time.
For example, hippies had unusual views when it came to gender equality and sexual orientation. They were open-minded but back in the 60s, their desire for organic products, veganism and vegetarianism was generally disregarded. Whereas today these beliefs have become commonplace.
Visionary
That is why one of many 11th-house activities is coming up with forward-thinking concepts. Be aware that Aquarius and Uranus are linked to this house. Therefore, the thoughts found here are concepts that other people may find weird.
A visionary is someone who thinks about or plans their future with their imagination. Similarly, to hopes and wishes is to have an expectation of what you would like to happen one day.
Thus, the wishes made in the 11th are the type you make during prayer. But the true mission of the 11th is not what you wish for yourself, but what you wish for others.
Let’s say wishing someone you know finds love, hoping they find peace. You may hope society becomes more excepting of others. It’s here you may hope to reach out to more people.
Of course, your wishes and goals pertaining to your future income and romantic life. But the goals you wish for yourself are found in either the 10th and/or the 12th house.
Fame!
Furthermore, anything that is modern lives here. And as a result, I believe this house to be the modern-day house of Fame (as opposed to the 10th/5th house).
Fame in the 11th house is more like, ‘fifteen minutes of fame’, here today, gone tomorrow. The type of fame that catapultes you to stardom. You become famous through association, share fame with another person/ other people, or have famous friends.
Preoccupations
When a person has a lot of planets in the 11th their bound to end up in some sort of club, group, fellowship, or networking, or being non-stop online.
11th house people are the types of folks who work for the United Nations. Work for charitable organisations, and for the government because they seek to implement change for our future generation.
Anyone who has at least one planet or the ruling planet or their ascendant, Sun, or Moon sign in the 11th house must want to set themselves apart. But they are still willing to help a marginalised group in the process.
They love gadgets, technology, astrology/science/humanitarian issues/supporting others. People tapped into the collective consciousness. Understanding we are all connected.
