Additional: I know many people with this placement and although I do not want to generalise (because there’s always a vast factors to consider) I have to say that the overall theme has been either these people are addicts, reclusive, have mother issues, or eating disorders. However, Moon in the 12th house can make the best writers, actors, and musicians. If they manage to get over their negative beliefs that they have about themselves they are probably the most talented and compassionate people you will ever meet.

The Moon is our home it is a representative of our mother and the 12th house is considered to be the house of retreat. The 12th house associations with how we incarnate into this world. In a sense the 12th house can be representative of us being in the womb and the Moon is fertility and birth. Considering all of this Moon in the 12th house people can either get into a habit of thinking a rehab centre is their home. I have seen this many times before people who keep going back into rehab because they are addicted. They don’t seem to understand why this is no matter how much counselling they have. Other people may end up feeling a hospital is their home maybe because they are always ill, therefore they are always in a hospital ward.

If you are reading this and you have your Moon in the 12th house and you have had an eating disorder or an addiction you may need to ask your mother if she had an eating problem or an addiction. Furthermore, what was your mother thinking when you were in her womb? Was she worrying? Did she hate her body?did she want to stay home so nobody could see her? this is not to blame your mother because the Moon also pertains to your family and it can mean that someone is over-sensitive about issues connected with their mother and their father. You now have to ask yourself why would your mother or your family be placed in a hidden unconscious house?

It’s likely that there are psychological issues that your family has not dealt with and because this is a very sensitive placement it’s most likely that a person with this placement can absorb (unconsciously) the emotions of other people. Even before we are born we can pick up the energy of our environment the Moon here can make a person psychic.
